What makes this Beef Patties for Sliders recipe Healthy?
This Beef Patties recipe uses Minced Meat (preferably 80/20) , that includes meat fat as well for that juicy, fatty, rich flavor, butter or ghee for that healthy fat content and to make it extra succulent, and some other whole food ingredients like garlic (an incredible anti-microbial, supports respiratory health and an effective anti-inflammatory food), ginger (for a healthy gut as it helps release more bile from the liver but not from the gallbladder, thereby concentrating the bile), and many more. Ingredients to make Healthy Beef Patties for Sliders
1lb Ground Beef
1 large onion, coarsely grated
4 tbsp Chickpea flour
1 lemon, juiced
1 tbsp Garlic Paste
1 tsp Ginger Paste
1 tbsp Ghee
1 Jalapeño, finely chopped
Handful Cilantro, finely chopped
A little Mint, finely chopped
1 tbsp Red Chilli Flakes
1 tsp Paprika
1 tbsp Coriander Powder
1 tsp Cumin Powder
Salt (to taste)
Oil (for frying)
Steps to make Healthy Beef Patties for Sliders
Step 1 : Take the ground beef in a large mixing bowl, and to it add the coarsely grated raw onion. Make sure to squeeze off all the water from it before adding, as the onion water may cause the patty to fall apart.
Step 2 : Add all the other ingredients and mix it thoroughly for about 2 minutes
Step 3 : Cover it and put it in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
Step 4 : Now form Patties (glazing the palms of your hands with some ghee or oil) of size a tad bigger than what you would want your desired outcome to be, as they shrink when you fry them.
Step 5 : In a wok or a deep pan, add oil for frying and put it on medium flame. Place the patties in such a way that they are not crowded and don’t turn them for a minute. Flip them after a minute.
Step 6 : Cook for over 4-5 minutes, until golden on the outside.
Step 7: Assemble the beef patties with sauces of your choice and slide them between the buns. Your sliders are ready!
