This healthy Keto Bread recipe, that is low carb uses almond flour to make it’s base and hard cheese like Romano or Parmesan due to its higher A2 Casein Protein content, which is said to be less inflammatory to your body. It also includes Organic Eggs that are rich in Omega-3 fatty acids and has ample amounts of choline that helps in DNA synthesis, Nervous System maintenance and many other cellular activities. Including Ghee in the recipe is essential as it helps support short chain fatty acids in your gut that aid in the balancing of microbiomes in the gut. Onion Powder is basically concentrated onions that have generous Folic Acid (essential in pregnancy for normal fetal development) content.
Ingredients to make Healthy Keto Bread Recipe
1 cup Almond Flour
150g Romano or Parmesan Cheese
4 whole eggs
175-200g Ghee
2 tsp baking powder
2 tbsp Onion Powder
Steps to make Healthy Keto Bread Recipe
Step 1 : Preheat the oven to 375°F.
Step 2 : In a large mixing bowl, to the finely powdered Almond Flour add Romano Cheese that is grated.
Step 3 : To this base mix, add baking powder and onion powder.
Step 4 : Mix the whole eggs and Ghee in a separate bowl and add to the flour mix and form a dough.
Step 5 : In an 8 x 4 inch loaf pan, place the dough and bake for about 30 minutes.
Step 6 : Your Healthy keto bread is ready! Let the bread cool on a wire rack for about 20 minutes before slicing it.
