What Makes Keto Naan Healthy?
This gluten-free recipe is incredible as it has no nonsense ingredients. It only requires a handful of wholesome ingredients like Mozzarella cheese that contains probiotics that support healthy immune function. It also has lower sodium and Calories when compared to other cheeses. Eggs are another remarkable ingredient that’s rich in Choline and Omega-3 Fatty acids.
Ingredients to make Healthy Keto Naan
1 ½ cup Almond Flour
1 tbsp Baking Powder
2 Whole Eggs
3 cups Mozzarella Cheese
2 tbsp Full-Fat Greek Yogurt
Butter (for glazing)
Steps to make Healthy Keto Naan
Step 1 : Preheat the oven to 375°F.
Step 2 : In a large mixing bowl, add the Almond Flour, baking powder and eggs.
Step 3 : In another bowl, melt the mozzarella cheese till it’s runny and add yogurt to it.
Step 4 : Quickly mix the cheese mix with the flour mix and knead it with your hands to form a dough.
Step 5 : Portion the dough to form 6 equal sized balls, and shape them into a flatbread, stretching with your hands.
Step 6 : Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 8-10 minutes until you see a golden brown top.
Step 7 : Glaze the top of the naans with some melted butter while the naans are hot, if you’d like.
